Empowering Others For Success. Leaders are meant to be the responsible and loyal ones tending to a group of people's interests or wellbeing. True success comes from all people involved in doing their part optimally. The fact is that not all people have the same level of confidence or courage to always be at their best. This is why the particular role of a leader is necessary for a group to attain their goal. The leader is aware that they themselves cannot perform every task needed for success in so they choose to empower others with the qualifications. Empowering others with accountability to perform and lead the team to success by performing their role optimally is the meaning of team empowerment. When everyone on the team feels empowered by the leaders their performance increases along with their confidence to make decisions that align with the success of the team.
Leadership Succeeds When Courage Defeats Fear Leaders understand courage is important and confidence is key because it affects the motivation of those around them. Leadership is successful when others look to their leader and find empowerment. This is why courage is important to leadership. A leader understands the fears and pains of others, knowing the only way to help is to lead the people down the right path. In so a leader confidently stands in what they believe in their heart is truth which most often is a new path, a new opportunity of hope.
Empowerment is Confidence in Ones Self
Confidence comes from the ability to full-heartedly believe in what one is doing, saying or thinking. To be confident means one has built themselves upon a foundational truth that they believe is correct. This in turn allows one to feel empowered to present themselves in a fitting manner in order to convince others what they do or say is truth. When one has performed the act of confidence enough they are naturally empowered to be themselves and make bold choices. Confidence is a skill that doesn’t have to be learnt as much as allowed. What empowers leaders to be confident is their ability to make choices based on their inner knowing and life experience. Leaders are not always right but they have a sense of self empowerment which allows them to stand confidently in what they believe.
Empowerment is Freedom
Leaders with integrity have courage to right the wrongs no matter what. These powerful individuals were born to lead others, were made responsible by their hardships and honest by their empathy. They have a sense of accountability and empowerment to change the way things are done in order to improve the world. Empowerment to them means to inspire others to not only be leaders but also understand personal responsibility. A leader with a heart knows to empower others is the only way to fulfill their true vision of joy
Keeper of Rou's Secrets  Every day is a valiant quest to discover and share the lost ancient secrets which were entrusted to him, and only him alone. Vahn is the enchanting keeper of ancient wisdom that has been passed down to him from ancient times. Like Percilla, who is a dear friend, Vahn receives the title of ‘Rebel’ from the lot of the community. However, Vahn is not like the rest of their group of friends. Vahn has a determined extraordinary heart and spirited mind to set things straight in the oppressed village to right all wrongs and reclaim the innocence and joy that once existed amongst the people. He is a teacher amongst his fellow rebels and guides them in the ancient ways, allowing them to remember their ancestors’ traditions.
Captain of Dignitaries  The Relentless Captain of Dignitaries, Franc has riveting fearlessness, that has no found boundaries and a team to serve her. She is an Elusive, Powerful Sorceress with a mission in which nothing has been able to stop. She has private access to ancient wisdom kept hidden from all since its discovery by the Dignitaries that came before her. Her understanding of the ways of magic and alchemy have shown her the power she possesses. The temptation to use her power for more power, more control and something else beyond conception led her on a thin line. Franc is respected by the other four dignitaries because her strength provides them a chance at being on top themselves. Though as one who is feared, not many find her good company to keep and, outside of her Dignitary circle, she is not a sought after companion.
Alchemist of the Dignitaries Master of the Elements, an Alchemist by trade, Ons takes great pleasure and controversial determination in creating apparatuses, contraptions, potions and other magical means for his fellow dignitaries to gain power in the realm of the universal community. With no limits set upon him, Ons is free to create to his heart's content knowing the fullness of power that he possesses along with his fellow dignitaries. He may be the quietest amongst the group, but his silence is only a sign of the deep thoughts and scheming plans that fill his mind. Ons is second in command to Franc as he is the one who controls the behind the scenes and access to the depths of power from which the Dignitaries gain their control.
Telepath for the Dignitary Determined to instill an intense sense of fear and unease to everyone not a Dignitary like himself, Lyken is the eeriest of the five Dignitaries. His ability to keenly sense one’s fears makes him an imperative ally for the other Dignitaries. Lyken approaches his work as an art with each unhumanly gestures meant to repulse and unease all onlookers. He enjoys catching people off guard and leading their mind down an avenue destined to surrender. Hence the reason Lyken is most often found leading the evening meetings for the village of Gangleton or face to face questioning captives. Even the other Dignitaries find his presence unnerving for he can sense too well what will bring fear to them, though they would never surrender.
Warrior Amongst the Dignitary  Fierce, loyal and determined to win no matter the risk, Nylz is the fearless warrior amongst the five Dignitaries. She will not surrender, by any means, and will always step up to show the non-Dignitaries who is boss holds the power. Always one step faster than any opponent, she is prized by the others even if she is the smallest and most petit of them all. Her determination to be seen and feared drives her ferocity. In her mind, she will be the Captain of the Dignitaries, she will be the leader. When adversity comes for the Dignitaries, she is the first to act and step up to the challenge. Often, she is on a mission to take in captives and take out the opposition, rarely does she return unsuccessful.

Eccentric Sorceress with the Exotic Trading Post Prepared for all life’s unpredictable happenings not only in magical artifacts but also as a sorcerer and alchemist, Frida is one with which to be reckoned. Her keen senses allow her to read minds, protect from danger and magically help where needed. The vast assortment of her worldly collection of artifacts both ancient and new provide travelers and the like with all that they could have wished. Frida is a known name across the Barren Lands, though not many know how to find her exotic trading post, or even Frida herself. She chooses who she wishes to help, but rarely turns down the opportunity to be correct and know best for someone else. Percilla found Frida’s eccentric, motherly nature curious at first. Before long, she could hardly keep up with, for Frida moves at a pace most uncommon. She is rapid with her use of magical spells and guidance, which at times has Percilla fully in agreeance. At other times, it has Percilla questioning what she got herself into. Ultimately Frida is a fine teacher, strong leader and caring guardian.
The Sorcerer and Ring Leader of Dawookrunk Circus  Devoted to reclaiming what was unfairly taken from his people, Symon is engaged in all goings-on both inside of his nomadic community and the outside world. He is a skilled shapeshifter, sorcerer and ring leader with a plan to take back the power his people once coveted. Leading the whimsical Dawookrunk circus throughout the Barrens, Symon brings in new audiences and allies. His determination to bring magic and visions of what once was the reality of the world to the people of the Barrens has been years of hard work. Cast out of his home at a young age with nothing but his community, Symon has risen above all the trials. Through the strength of his will and that of his companions, they formed the great and renowned, Dawookrunk Circus. Each day they rise and each day they empower audiences. Each night they rest and each morning they move to the next audience, lost in the Barrens searching for an answer, yearning for a new life.
The Treasure Hunter of "The Barrens" a Lawless Land  Traversing the Barren landscapes with a desire to find the rarest gadgets, artifacts, contraptions and magical lands, Shru works his magic upon all whom he meet to claim his new treasures. With no home to return to, Shru explores and knows “The Barrens” like no other, which makes him a valuable companion. Not many people travel the lawless lands alone, they are wildly unpredictable but for Shru they are the source of his vagabond lifestyle. He enjoys a good find when it comes around and rather fancies not having a daily plan but that which is the same plan day to day, treasure hunting. A lone wanderer, with no real companions part unto he isn’t fond of many people but mainly due to his self-serving behavior makes him a slippery ally for one never really knows whats brewing in Shru’s mind. Though as Percilla meets him on her quest, she finds him both helpful and questionable.
Acrobat and Warrior of Dawookrunk Circus Skilled in both acrobatics and combat, Matik is prized by many people. As a star performer for the nomadic Dawookrunk Circus, he is known by people throughout the Barren Lands. Even though he is fond of the celebrity status he is still humble and hard working. Loyal to his mentor, Symon, Matik takes on all daunting tasks that others wouldn’t even consider. His fearless approach to life allows him the courage to succeed and exceed all that is asked of him. He is a loyal companion to Percilla. A true warrior at her side spotting danger and acting swiftly to protect. Willing to risk his life to serve the greater good for his people, Matik like Frida is a force with which to be reckoned.
Lackey for the Dignitaries  Happy to serve as Dignitary and honored to walk amongst the greats, Drendle is the lackey for the rest of the five dignitaries. He is the one at the front of the levers steering the contraption, driving his loyal companions where they need to be. If there is a mission, he is the first one sent along with Nylz. Ready for any opportunity to prove his worth, even if he doesn’t quite know what he is doing, Drendle is hardworking and honest. His ability to follow orders and maintain the goings-on of the Dignitaries make him an essential instrument for their success. To him, he cares less for power than the rest, his idea of success is in the joy and recognition he receives from the other Dignitaries. Drendle’s open mind also makes him a useful tool for mind control and other spells, which gain him the strength to do more than he’d usually be able to do.
Defiant Leader to Rou  Born into an extraordinary village where bizarre routines and obedience dominates the otherwise light-hearted and happy, kind-hearted community. Percilla deviated from the path of others in the community quite early on. In fact, so early on that, the whole of the community refers to her and her group of friends as renegades or rebels. Percilla and her party of friends find great enjoyment venturing away from the village and playing music in the Astonishing Cherry Orchard and sharing lost stories of the ancient ones from ancient times. In truth, Percilla is an incredible free thinker. As Pricilla’s mystical journey continues, she needs to be able to trust her innate sense of right and wrong based on her own kind heart's intentions and not what anyone else says or does to keep their profound independence.
The Nomadic Oracle of Rou  Serving nobody in particular but those whom he finds worthy, Vincent is a powerful Oracle with the ability to change a person’s fate. His presence alone makes most people stop first in shock, then in fear, for he has access to far more than one wishes another to know. He pulls the deepest secrets forward and reveals them in exchange for a good price or simply because he thinks someone should know. The duality of his character makes him questionable as no one really knows who he is working for. Vincent finds pleasure in helping those, like Percilla, but also finds a different sort of value in helping the opposition. His ability to see far into the past, present and future allows him the ability to be free from choosing sides. He is needed by both sides and neither side can deny his services if they wish to gain.
 A realm out of the regular scope of time, where the individual is enhanced by support, from a community devoted to embracing the specialness and importance of one's uniqueness. In this world, there is only the eternal moment. A space in time where one's evolution is the most important factor. It is through this consciousness that together the people of Rou evolve. By each individual honoring their own strengths and trials, they become a powerful entity for the collective. Through the support and respect for others strengths, the world of Rou thrives as each individual lives their truth.
 Chaos can be the invitation for the courageous to rise or the fearful to hide. Every day we are given the opportunity to evolve. Some days the opportunity flows along with our intention and we feel satisfied at the end of the day. Then there are other times when chaos comes to knock us off our path and invite us to evolve, to move on. It is in these moments we must look inside for the truth of the chaos. We must rise above the doubts and negativity of such situations, find strength and purpose, harness the winds of change and ride them. This, in essence, is the story of Percilla, the lead protagonist in Rou Odyssey. From living a routine, predetermined life, Percilla had a consistent sense of satisfaction every day inside her quaint little village. Though as her life purpose was beyond her own choosing, she finds herself met with chaos of a sort no one would hope to discover along their path. Chaos is embodied as characters and as well as situations which Percilla at first fears, but with the help of others around her rises above. Percilla is a pure example of strength, determination, and faith.
